From A to Z, Sonora has it all in the way of retail and services to the community.  Sonora's tourists are treated to a choice of 6 motels and 11 restaurants.  To add to the tourist's experience, several boutiques and unique gift shops are scattered throughout the community.  You may purchase the original mohair products from Ol' Sonora-Rosey Bud or find local art at The Mercantile Garden and Old Sonora Ice House Museum Gift Shop.  Amis Gift Shop is known for its Christian gifts.  You will find your favorite sports team logos at Rockhouse Boutique or rent a tuxedo at One Stop Gift Shop.  Wild Bill's Boutique offers that funky, stylish clothing so popular with the adolescents of today.  Our newest gift store, Crystal's Palace is offering candles and other gifts.  These are just a few of the shops to make your visit to Sonora extra special.  Exiting off Interstate 10 at mile marker 400, you may choose from a number of convenience stores and gas stations including Exxon, Chevron, Fina, Shell and Town & Country.

Our community has one grocery store that is adequate for every day type meals.  Nickolson's Meat Co. brings an added convenience as it offers everything from your holiday turkey, to snacks of jerky or fresh luncheon meats.  Three discount stores, Alco, Dollar General and Family Dollar, are very competitive with Wal Mart prices and offer a wide variety of everyday items.

As you can see, Sonora's retail remains a driving force to the economy and serves the community well.
